Stump the Author Meme

Snagged from various people on my flist.

1.) Go to my master fic list and pick out a line or two from one of my stories. (Must be a full line, please -- no sentence fragments or speech tags or other such nonsense.)
2.) I will respond with which story of mine I think it's from.
3.) A drabble to anyone who stumps me. If you do stump me, feel free to request a situation and characters.

All of my fic can be found here.

If you manage to stump me, please request a drabble from Doctor Who, Torchwood, The OC, or Merlin.

Thanks for playing! :)

I'll reply to your message on this thread when the drabble is complete.

Something on the bottle caught his eye, and his hand raised the glass for a better look. He cocked his head to the side, and it took several seconds for him to recognize the faint image.

There, this is mine :) Although I believe that, knowing me, you'll be able to understand immediately which story I picked... lol!

*huggles*

P.S. Oh and if I stump you (I doubt it but you never know) I want Merlin!!! ;P

Now that's a story I know I well! It was actually one of my favorites.

Learning to Say Goodbye. I even know that's from the first chapter - Denial!

Thanks for playing, sweetie!

And you know you can always request a drabble. ;) Provide a prompt and I'll see what I can do. :D

LOL! Yes, of course that's the one :) I *loved* that story so much I didn't even need to take a look at the page you linked to know I wanted to quote from there!

Did someone say prompt? *squishes you madly*

How about Arthur being jealous of Merlin's 'attachment' to Lancelot? Ever since I read the spoilers for season 2 I kept thinking about a jealous Arthur or a jealous Merlin... I hope it's doable!!

Aww! Thank you so much for the compliments about that story. :) It remains one of my all time favorites.

Hm...jealous!Arthur. I think I can manage that. Now I have to figure out how to fit it in a drabble. ;) Thanks for the good prompt!

Hope this is what you're after?. Real easy for you and I do so want somemore 'Willing Sacrifice'

(He had invited Ryan, a complete stranger, into his house with his wonderful family. He had given him a roof over his head, fancy clothes, and a chance at a real future. A real future…

Doh! *sending chocolate*

I'm going to guess Why He Stayed. :) Hopefully I'm correct!

I'm actually going to try to finish Willing Sacrifice once I get done with my auction stories that were for charity. :)

Thanks for playing and let me know if I'm wrong!

GOTCHA! LOL!!
It's 'Playing the Odds'

I'd love a little drabble about the Cohens,Marissa and Summer going on a fun afternoon to a Paintball Park'.
Ryan got to choose the venue and of course Seth and Marissa are on the receiving end.

Hee!! It's the first time I've joined in a challenge.

Jack wondered why he was surprised.

Good luck, I know you have a busy schedule.

I'll do this too. I don't have enough to do yet! :P

I saw you posted this on your LJ! Because we never have enough to do... ;)

It was Good to See You.

Sorry. The line wasn't very obvious, because I want a drabble from you!

Now I have to think of something...

A crack drabble: Since she was such a computer geek, Tosh's ghost entered the Matrix internet after she died. What it's doing there is up to you.

Wow. Do my eyes deceive me? I should know better than to play. That would mean... pressure to write. Can't have that.

It's just a silly meme. :)

Play or don't play - whatever you prefer.

Please don't misinterpret. I just happened to see your post, and I wasn't sure you were doing anything O.C.-related anymore.

I'll offer this, "He figured this was the first time Ryan was around people that actually cared to hear what he was thinking." because it just rings so sadly true.

If you really feel- and have time- like doing a drabble, I'd like something with Ryan and Sandy interacting and connecting, but, please about something significant, not about "M" or "T.T." or any other such in that cast of... characters (to be kind).

If you've got a full plate, no worries- at all.

The odd drabble I can manage in the OC fandom. :) Even though I'm not writing full length stories, I still hear the characters in my head. Well, Ryan at least. ;)

I'm going to guess Playing the Odds because it was Ryan and Sandy centered.

As far as a drabble, that's probably the best prompt I've gotten because it's most in line with the characters as I see them and what I enjoy writing about. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for playing!

I didn't think you were writing story-stories any longer, but hopefully, any WIP won't be completely Dawned- time allowing.

And I knew the story source would be obvious, but it's a great characterization- and one that was so sadly missing from canon. Still, I love that story, so I HAD to choose it. It's so spot-on.

Thanks for gaming!
