Write me a story?

So real life has taken a turn for the worse... *glares at reality* After reading about some of things that other people have going on, I really feel guilty about complaining. I suppose everything is relative though.

The boyfriend and I were supposed to go on vacation this Thursday. We were heading to our cabin in Virgina for a week. Between graduate school and the two jobs, it's extremely hard for me to get away. Now because of his serious back problem and the need for him to find a new doctor, it's not going to happen. I don't blame him because he has to put his health first. I know I shouldn't whine about it, but I was looking forward to the break. I *needed* the break. But alas, I shall continue to march.

I've got stacks of cases sitting on my desk at work and lots of school work that I've let slide that needs attention so I suppose that's what I'll be doing over the holiday break. I'm not going to take any days off from work though. I've got a strange mental block when it comes to taking time off. If I'm not leaving town, I can't justify it in my mind. I've always been weird like that. Sure, I've got over two months of leave on the books, but god forbid I take a day off. I need to work on that. lol

So basically, will someone write me a story? A drabble? Anything?

I feel like writing, but I'm afraid I'll start killing off characters. I tend to do that when I need to vent. :)

If anyone is still reading this, thanks for listening.

Rants are always okay. And this does suck- I can't imagine sustaining your schedule, so it's easy to convince 'moi' how much you need the break.

Stories, huh? *ponders* I can't start today, but perhaps tomorrow. Meanwhile, *hugs* for sure.

Look- a reason to be motivated and inspired to write! That would be a bonus for all of us and medicine for nightrider.

And I know I have to get to your ocitagain post that sort of addressed some of my "Snock." And I WILL comment on your amazing challenge fic for real. I'm so slow these days!

End of hijack. Take off.

LOL I'm glad you're convinced! I do keep a busy schedule, but normally I don't mind. You should see me when I'm bored. It's not pretty!

YAY for more stories! I'll gladly accept anything you'd like to share. Thanks for listening. :)

Let's see, what is it, Wednesday again already? Intention for writing over the weekend didn't work out, but this morning I sat down and pondered 'being at the end of one's rope' and thought of Ryan.

I don't know how to do the link thing but I posted it on my LJ. "Running." So it should pop up on your friends page, yet? Anyway, I hope it isn't more depressing....and that in any case you're feeling better by now. As hopefully boyfriend is/ will be soon w/ new doc.

BTW- I noticed you were worried about killing characters when writing in a bad mood- but you've already been pretty rough on Ryan in 'A Willing Sacrifice'....whew~! I love it and hope to get back there w/ coherent comment, but please don't update until you can do so without killing someone. Except maybe Trey, no great loss.... *hee*

LOL Don't worry... You don't have to adhere to a schedule. Lord knows I'm about...oh...three months behind in my writing. :) But who's counting? ;)

YAY for the story! Thanks again. I'm honestly flattered that you took time out of your schedule to write for me. I think time is the most valuable thing we all have and when someone gives it freely, it's very thoughtful. :)

Yeah, A Willing Sacrifice... *cough* No comment...

I don't *plan* on killing anyone. I know where I want to go with the story. I just have to get there. Thanks for the vote of confidence on the story! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Eh, don't worry about a coherent comment... I definitely think this counts!
